Position Overview

Roshel is looking a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Calibration Specialist at their Brampton, Ontario facility. The person will be responsible for developing calibrations that achieve world-class drivability and optimized energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop calibration best practices for future BEV applications and analyze, plan, and solve complex system problems as they relate to calibration development
• Responsible for utilizing large and complex sets of data and actively participate in the development of standard hardware and calibration development processes and procedures.
• Perform calibration work, such as post processing data, generating calibration and technical reports according to the schedule of activities and testing of the vehicle application project
• Certify the quality of the measured data for the execution of the Basic Calibration activities
• Lead cross functional system resolution and administration
• Prepare and provide technical reports of the activities carried out following the project’s Quality Gates schedule or whenever requested by the manager
• Be responsible for reporting status of development activities to the manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
• Minimum of 3-5 Years calibration experience
• Basic understanding of Power Electronics, Hybrid Vehicle Architecture and Power flow
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
• Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Conflict and crisis management
